Leonardo Guglielmo was born in Italy on July 22, 1891 and died in N.R. at 48 on April 14, 1940 from a heart attack. His parent’s, our great grandparents, were named Francesco Guglielmo and Catarina Pace. Grandpa was an ice dealer. Grandma was born in Italy on May 30, 1893. Her name was Maria Lucia Pace Telesco. She died in N.R. on July 12, 1970 of a heart attack. Her mother was Vita Pace and her father was Joseph Telesco.

I was very sad to learn of cousin Lucille's passing at such a young age. It made me also sad to think that I barely knew her. I hope creating this BLOG helps the Guglielmo Family get to know each other a little more. Feel free to post a family photo, share a memory, add to our history, show off your kids artwork or just be nosey!

ReplyDeleteOne to get the message out that Uncle Danny could use some prayers and phone calls from family at this time. My Mom, Aunt Marie is in the ICU at Sound Shore Med Ctr in New Rochelle and not likely to come home. She continues to improve daily but will require placement in a long-term full care facility. While he is handling this remarkably well, they have been together for 63 years and this will be a major adjustment for my Dad-your Uncle Danny. Family has always been the most important part of his life and I always remember him visiting his brothers and sisters when they were ill or in need of a kind word- that is, my Aunts and Uncles and your Moms and Dads. I know he would love to hear from his nieces and nephews if you have a few minutes to spare to make a call every couple of weeks or so to let him know you are thinking about him and praying for him and my Mom. It would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your kindness and God Bless.
